Meryl and Daran Buckland of Imagio offer a unique solution to your gift shopping. By utilizing laser engraving technology, Imagio can create a timeless three dimensional portrait of you or your family captured within a striking piece of crystal.

The inspiration for this innovative product came from a trip abroad to Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in London, where Meryl first saw the crystal engraved mementoes. “I’d never seen anything like it before, it’s the perfect unique, affordable gift!”

From a studio in Havelock North, Imagio offers a wide range of crystal shapes, from small cubes which make an ideal paperweight, through to the larger style, perfect for graduations and 21sts. A 3D camera captures the required image which is then transferred to a laser computer. The laser cracks the crystal to create each unique image. Meryl, who has undergone advanced training in laser engraving, says that it takes around 100,000 cracks to form a single image.
